What to do when a listing will not publish
A failed eBay publish can be caused by missing details, eBay policies or a connection issue.
How to do it
- Read the exact error message on the affected item.
- Check required item specifics, condition, category, photos, price and shipping settings.
- Save any corrections before trying again.
- Check whether a listing already appeared in your eBay account before retrying to avoid duplicates.
- If the error continues, open Contact support and include the message and affected listing ID.
Helpful tips
- Do not create a replacement listing until you have checked whether the original is already live.
