The short answer
Open Batch Upload on your desktop and use the phone handoff QR code. Scan it with your iPhone and follow the GrimLister app prompt, select the item photos, and wait for the transfer to complete. Continue grouping and preparing the photos on the desktop.
1. Start the handoff where you want to continue
Sign in on the desktop and open Batch Upload. Open the phone upload handoff and scan the displayed QR code using your iPhone.
Follow the app-opening prompt. If GrimLister is not installed, follow the installation guidance shown by the handoff. The download destination can depend on the app’s current release availability.
2. Select the right photo session
In the phone flow, select the photos for the items you are working on. Include readable labels, measurements, and SKU cards where relevant. Check the selected count before starting the transfer.
Avoid combining unrelated sessions simply because they happen to be next to one another in the camera roll. A deliberate selection makes grouping and review easier.
3. Let the handoff finish
Follow the progress on both devices and wait for the completed state. Keep the app open as instructed during the transfer; do not assume that closing the phone guarantees the upload will continue.
If the connection pauses, follow the recovery message and reopen the phone flow when requested. Verify the received photos before selecting the same batch again.
4. Continue in desktop Batch Upload
The larger screen can make title, specifics, pricing, and shipping review more comfortable. You can use the workflow that fits the part of the task you are doing.
- Confirm that the expected photos are present.
- Check the item groups and internal SKU cards.
- Correct orientation or grouping problems.
- Start preparation when the batch is ready.
- Review the resulting listings in the Listing Bank.
Keep a clear source of truth during the handoff
Use the intended account and the active QR session. If something is missing, compare the selected and received photos before starting an unrelated new transfer.
This tutorial describes the handoff workflow. It does not promise that a transfer will finish through every network interruption or device sleep state. Confirm completion before clearing your working session.
